Abstract:
The following work demonstrates data exchange between mobile devices and internet processes. At first we take a look at mobile transmission techniques, mobile devices and operating systems for mobile devices. After an overview about reference designs we will take a closer look at the Java 2 Micro Edition, a device independent and operating system independent programming language. The shown communication and messaging methods are the fundament for the interaction of internet processes and mobile processes. Client - Server Communication is shown by a prototype, which consists of a web process management system (WPMS) and a mobile java program. The java program on the mobile device can act as client or a server and exchange user data with the WPMS. Additionally the program supports the administration of the personal data and the transmission by valid data protection regulations.
