In Service Design where new Business Services are designed, Service Blueprints are a widespread method to visualize and communicate new service designs. Service blueprints are based on a process model where the provision of services is seen as a cooperative process between provider and customer. A transformation of Service Blueprints into a formal language as BPMN may support an automation of service provision.
