Project "EIT ICT Lab Austria"

The EC group has - together with Eutema and i2c - launched a new project "EIT ICT Lab Austria". Its aim is to prepare an Austrian participation in the ICTLabs of the European Institute of Technology (EIT).

The EIT ICTLabs belong to one of the first Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) of the EIT and are an initiative of the European Union. Since 2010, the ICTLabs brings together researchers, scientists and companies to implement IT innovations for economic growth and quality of life in Europe. The partners of the ICT Labs encompass leading academic institutions, top universities and industrial heavyweights in Europe. This project is designed to prepare an application for membership in the ICT Labs so that Austrian organizations may have access to the European wide network of the ICTLabs.
