Abstract:
Manpower GmbH an employment agency provides high quality services to customers with the global values people, knowledge, and innovation. They care about people and the role of job in their life, share knowledge and innovate technologies and create solutions to customers to help them managing the human resources more effectively. E-Manpower has a solution for this external personnel management task and with E-Learning a programme to train and improve the staff according to client’s requirements.
The research described in this thesis was performed in corporation with Manpower and is an approach to design an internal personnel management system still missing there. The result is a solution for job analysing, competence and skill analysing, job description, strategic plan and an employee handbook. Further components such as personnel controlling, career- and performance management were not implemented due to time constraints. The thesis shows the data model of the solution and some user interface designs.
