Abstract:
This master thesis works on the support of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) by information systems. QFD is a method of the quality managements, which practically implements the philosophy of Total Quality Managements (TQM). The total customer orientation focus on all efforts. The House of Quality (HoQ), an central tool of QFD, will help to explain the essential execution of the method QFD based on a seminar. Basically QFD is, with the right software's support, an important and useful method for the complete quality management and can also make a valuable contribution to the quality improvement. Some theoretical QFD bases can be fulfilled rationally and efficiently to the satisfaction of the user only with a sufficient software's support. Subsequently this work also describes five selected software products from the international market. The construction of an own software program, which should contain some necessary features for QFD, will be an alternative to commercial software tools.
